EV charging infrastructure guidance released
The New Zealand Transport Agency has published new guidance on public charging infrastructure for electric vehicles (EVs).The guidance is aimed at organisations setting up public charging infrastructure - both those new to electric vehicle charging infrastructure, and those already involved in developing infrastructure.By providing recommendations for public charging infrastructure, the Government aims to ensure that the national network of charging stations is aligned, safe and reliable, giving drivers the confidence to make longer trips in electric vehicles.New Zealand’s fleet of Electric Vehicles (EVs) has exceeded 2500, well above current government targets.
